Underwriter, Environmental Casualty

Description

Our Environmental Casualty Underwriters are responsible for developing and growing our General Liability / Pollution, XS and Auto lines of coverage. They are expected to maintain a profitable, diversified book of business through effective underwriting decision making, mutually beneficial agent / brokers relationships, and application of underwriting tools, systems, and expert resources under some guidance and supervision.

We are open to other levels of underwriter dependent on candidate experience.

Responsibilities :

• Underwrites Liberty MutualsEnvironmental Casualty products including risk evaluation, structuring ofpolicy terms and conditions, and pricing of insurance programs inaccordance with company guidelines.
• Develops and maintains professional relationships with target retail brokers to generate a strongflow of business opportunities and renewal retentions.
• Provides a high level ofcustomer service through timely response to broker requests and deadlinesand meets service standards regarding policy and endorsement issuance.
• Develops internalrelationships with other company divisions to drive cross marketingefforts.
• Maintains well documented files.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
