OVERVIEW
As a member of the Video Electrical Engineering team, you will own the sustaining development and testing of video product systems.
Your responsibilities include reviewing data sheets to find reputable solutions, assessing whether a design change is required, creating new design, and testing the new change to verify the new components adaptation.
Responsibilities Include :
- Make relevant design changes to Bills of Material (BOMs), Schematics, Layouts as needed for the change request.
- Interface with ME and FW teams to ensure cross functional input and understanding of changes
- Interface with suppliers to select and finalize design changes
- Support validation team with developing test plan, triage issues, and finalize changes per company processes.
- Drive change request to completion by following company change control process using Arena PLM tools and process knowledge.
- Research, propose, and develop subsystems and circuit solutions for Worn Cameras, In-Car Camera Systems and / or their accessory electronics.
- Using OrCAD Schematic tools, design embedded Mixed-Signal / Analog / Digital electronic circuits that may integrate application processors, image sensors, high- and low-speed data interfaces (DDR, USB, I2C, SPI), switch-mode and linear power supplies, batteries, audio subsystems, RF transceivers, and discrete digital and analog components.
- Evaluate performance of circuits and assess compliance to product and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize performance of electronics design
- Assess and document design outcomes, test results, and related information and present information to design teams.
- Work with component and development partners to select, evaluate, and approve electronics designs.
QUALIFICATIONS
