We are a locally run, family-oriented, proudly serving your community, and are looking for talented techs like you to grow with us! n nWHAT YOU’LL DO n nPerform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A / C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.
nSchedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections. nRepair / Replace vehicle / trailer components.
nOpen and Close repair orders on a company-issued device. nObtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.

nCommunication skills nAbility to work extended and / or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed nValid Driver’s License required.
nSelf-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills nAbility to utilize a computer / tablet for electronic processing of work orders which includes adding labor hours, and updating work order statuses n2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
n2 years of experience in truck / trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education. nBasic computer skills.
nMust possess proper tools n nWHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT n nHigh School education or equivalent nCertifications are a plus nWelding experience nCDL, a plus nWorking Conditions : n* Working in the outdoors n* Working under extreme weather conditions n* Extreme Heat / Cold / Humidity n nThe ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
