Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists specializing in pediatric and school settings. This role supports students in a structured educational environment with a focus on delivering high-quality speech therapy services.
Location : Downingtown, PA
Position Type : Full-time contract (37.5 hours / week)
Duration : School Year (NSY)
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary, middle, or high school students, depending on the assigned caseload
- Deliver individualized treatment in small groups or one-on-one settings, adhering to the schools preference against large group sessions
- Develop and implement therapy plans that align with each students needs and educational goals
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to coordinate services and track progress
- Maintain caseloads in compliance with state cap requirements (not exceeding 65 students)
- Focus exclusively on therapy services; evaluations are conducted on-site by designated staff
Qualifications :
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably within educational or healthcare settingsCompleted Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)Ability to manage caseloads across elementary, middle, or high school populationsStrong communication and organizational skills to support student progress and interdisciplinary collaborationBenefits :
