AvtechTyee is searching for a Quality Engineer 2 with regulated industry experience and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to help position our company for new growth and improved social responsibility. Project management skills would be a real plus!

Responsibilities

• Lead, participate in, and close of First Article Inspections (FAIs), Non-conformance reports (NCRs), Corrective Actions Reports (CARs), Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs), and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specifications and deliverables.
• Assist operations team in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels for CSR (corporate social responsibility), environmental, and health and safety goals / KPIs.
• Investigate product reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
• Develop or update company inspection procedures to ensure capture, investigation, and proper documentation.
• Monitor risk-management procedures and use problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development teams.
• Provide training and support to quality assurance team members, focusing on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes.
• Actively participate in and lead internal and external audits.
• Ongoing self-development and personal growth as an employee.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation

The target wage / salary range for this role may be within $80k - $110k, depending on education and experience. We may look at a broader range for the right candidate.
