POSITION SUMMARY

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 7+ years of experience, Sales and Use Tax experience, construction accounting background, systems implementation, extensive ERP knowledge, and expertise in budget forecasting and reporting.

What you’ll do :

Recruit, coach, and counsel employees; communicate job expectations; monitor, appraise, and review job contributions; plan and review compensation actions;

communicate and ensure adherence to policies and procedures

• Develop, implement, and maintain organization-wide accounting structures and systems to ensure financial / asset security and compliance with all state and federal laws as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Oversee and monitor daily operations of assigned areas to ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting systems and internal controls
• Monitor financials. Coordinate the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data. Prepare standard and special reports
• Guide other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy, applying observations and making recommendations

• Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

What you bring to the table :

Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required

7+ years of accounting experience preferred
