Your night in operations
At 6 : 45 PM, you take the handoff for C Shift and set the plan for a productive night. You align your team around safety, quality, and output—then steer compounding, blending, and packaging through to the 7 : 00 AM handoff. Rotating days and every other weekend keep you connected with all parts of the operation.

What you’ll lead
- People leadership : set expectations, assign work to meet the production plan, and coach operators through challenges; provide training, counseling, discipline, and regular performance feedback.
- Safety first : champion a clean, safe environment; stop unsafe acts, reinforce proper equipment use, uphold environmental and safety policies, and elevate housekeeping by repairing issues, setting standards, and coaching.
- Quality ownership : ensure compliance with manufacturing instructions and quality systems; request formal changes when procedures need improvement.
- Throughput & flow : prioritize work based on the plan, resolve processing issues in real time, and keep production moving across all phases; verify tools and methods are used as designed.
- Cross-functional action : identify production needs and initiate maintenance / engineering support; write and track maintenance work orders.
- Team cohesion : promote collaboration within the shift and across departments and shifts.
- Results reporting : leverage Teknor Apex reporting systems to capture daily production outcomes.
- Other duties : take on additional assignments as directed by your manager.

Directly supervises all production areas : compounding, blending, and packaging.Indirectly supervises maintenance, quality, and laboratory personnel on shift.Owns shift performance for production output and safety objectives.Credentials
