Are you ready to take your veterinary career to the next level? Long Island Veterinary Specialists (LIVS) is seeking a dedicated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our overnight shifts, you'll be at the forefront of providing exceptional care to our hospitalized and ICU patients.

What You'll Do :

• Comprehensive Care : You'll be responsible for delivering top-notch care to a diverse range of patients, including postoperative surgical patients, internal medicine cases, ICU patients, Urgent Care cases, oncology patients, and those requiring ophthalmologic attention.
• Advanced Technical Skills : From collecting samples to administering medications and calculating dosages, your expertise will be vital in ensuring our patients receive the best treatment possible.
• Critical Thinking : As a seasoned technician, you'll triage critical cases, monitor patient vitals, and promptly report any changes in status to the attending doctor.
• Empathetic Communication : Your compassionate communication style will shine as you educate and update owners on their pet's condition.
