Staff Accountant
Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? LHH Professional Recruitment Solutions is working with an innovative company in North Houston seeking a Staff Accountant. This is an opportunity where you’ll gain hands-on experience and mentorship.
Primary responsibilities of the Staff Accountant role include :
Daily processing of accounting transactions
Preparing and posting journal entries for multiple business units
Reconciling balance sheet and bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Analyzing financial statements for trends and discrepancies
Generating timely financial reports for management review
Assisting with external audit requests and special projects as needed
Primary qualifications include :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, preferred
2+ years of general ledger accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in a manufacturing or inventory-based environment is a plus.
Initiative, accountability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Willingness to work extra hours during month-end close (approx. 45–50 hours).

Pay Details : $75,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
