Job Description

Assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.

Turning and repositioning bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.

Taking vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate, and reporting any significant changes to the supervising nurse or physician.

Assisting with patient hygiene, such as bathing and grooming, and helping patients with toileting needs.

Providing emotional support to patients and their families.

Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate medical records.

Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals and monitoring patients' food and fluid intake.

Transporting patients to and from various locations, such as the dining room or therapy sessions.

Adhering to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
