Job Summary
The Executive and Business Support Professional reports to the Chair of the Department of Medicine and provides high-level support to ensure the Chair's duties and responsibilities are carried out effectively. This position also provides support to the DOM Chair in their role as Interim Vice Dean, as well as other leadership roles across campus. The person in this role must consistently demonstrate professionalism and represent the Chair, Department, faculty, and staff with the highest standards. The Executive and Business Support Professional should collaborate well with all parts of the communityboth internal and externaland proactively seek innovative and suitable solutions to overcome any challenges in achieving the Chair's goals for the Department.
The candidate selected for this position will represent the highest office in the Department of Medicine and rank among the highest on campus. Therefore, they must act with the utmost professionalism, integrity, self-awareness, and be proactive, motivated to learn and grow. This position is expected to work five days per week in the office.
