Job Description :

As a Line Cook at Apex Entertainment, you'll play a crucial role in our kitchen, whipping up mouthwatering dishes that will leave our guests craving for more. Get ready to showcase your culinary skills and make every plate a masterpiece! Here's what you'll be cooking up :

Culinary Craftsmanship :

  • Master our extensive menu, becoming a maestro of flavor and presentation.
  • Prepare and cook all menu items with precision, ensuring they are both delectable and visually appealing.

Kitchen Choreographer :

  • Dance through the kitchen with grace and organization, maintaining impeccable cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Set up your station promptly, follow prep lists diligently, and keep a keen eye on product shelf life.
  • Follow food safety guidelines to guarantee a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.

    • Speedy Service Superstar :

  • Embrace the fast-paced nature of our kitchen, skillfully cooking orders within specified ticket times.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen staff, working together like a well-choreographed culinary symphony.
  • Answer, report, and follow Assistant Kitchen Manager and Kitchen Manager instructions.

    • Team Player Extraordinaire :

  • Be a culinary virtuoso who knows the importance of teamwork and camaraderie.
  • Show respect and maintain a positive demeanor towards your fellow team members, creating a harmonious kitchen atmosphere.

    • Dish Area Dynamo :

  • The kitchen's unsung hero lies in the dish area, and you'll play a vital role in keeping it clean and organized.
  • Don't be afraid to roll up your sleeves and assist with dish pit duties, from mopping floors to organizing clean dishes.

    • Requirements :

  • A passion for culinary creativity that ignites taste buds and tantalizes palates.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the food & beverage and / or hospitality industry.
  • Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours at a time.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Weekend & evening availability is a MUST.
  • Comfortable and confident in a fast-paced culinary adventure.
