Job Title : Psychiatrist Geriatric Focus (Collaborative Agreements)

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist licensed in Pennsylvania to provide high-quality psychiatric care to geriatric patients across a variety of clinical settings.
In addition to direct patient care, this position will serve as a collaborating psychiatrist for nurse practitioners and physician assistants under Pennsylvania s collaborative agreement regulations. The role combines clinical leadership supervision , and interdisciplinary teamwork , ensuring compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health care for older adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations medication management , and treatment planning for geriatric patients (typically age 60+).
- Provide ongoing supervision and collaborative oversight for psychiatric NPs and / or PAs, in compliance with Pennsylvania Board of Medicine and Board of Nursing requirements.
- Maintain and review collaborative agreements , ensuring availability for consultation per legal and organizational policy.
- Work closely with primary care providers social workers therapists , and nursing staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Participate in case reviews quality improvement initiatives , and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation within the EMR system.
- Stay current on developments in geriatric psychiatry psychopharmacology , and collaborative supervision best practices
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited Psychiatry residency Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship preferred but not required.Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and DEA registration in good standing.Experience treating geriatric and / or adult populations in outpatient, inpatient, or long-term care settings.Prior experience holding collaborative agreements with advanced practice providers strongly preferred.Excellent interpersonal communication , and leadership skills.Commitment to patient-centered ethical , and compassionate careCompensation & Benefits
