Compensation Range : $67,276.00 - $94,149.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries / hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities

General Purpose : Identifies needs of health care providers. Investigates complaints and provides appropriate follow-up, working with the appropriate supervisory staff of Medical Center (MC) units. Recommends changes to existing services, and new services, to better meet client needs. Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients. Develops marketing plans and market research tools.

Essential Functions

  • Develops and implements programs and policies for Clinical Outreach programs.
  • Works with appropriate management team to identify and implement improvements in departmental services or policies to better serve the needs of outreach clients.
  • Coordinates departmental marketing efforts consistent with organizational initiatives.
  • Develops promotional literature.
  • Assists in other marketing-related customer service activities as requested by management team.
  • Establishes volume and service objectives.
  • Assists in developing responses to Requests For Proposals (RFP's).
  • Reviews and recommends adjustments to fee schedules when appropriate.
  • Advises on appropriate coding of laboratory tests.
  • Visits established outreach clients on a regular basis to identify and resolve problems.
  • Serves as liaison between programs and / or departments and other health care providers.
  • Serves as resource for physicians or patients who are unhappy with services.
  • Educates clients on use of forms and protocols.
  • Ensures all outreach client requests for supplies are accurately and promptly filled.
  • Provides periodic progress reports to management team.
  • Provides regular feedback on client satisfaction and client needs.
  • Maintains reports on current client and prospective client files, including frequency of contacts.
  • Contacts prospective clients identified through leads from programs and / or departments.
  • After consultation with leadership, actively participates in the management of an effective physician utilization system.
  • Advises leaders, clients, and management team on procedure protocols / cascades for controlling unnecessary test ordering.
  • Keeps current on all issues pertaining to Clinical Outreach services.
  • Actively participates in ongoing education endeavors.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of clinical experience required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 year of supervisory, leadership, or marketing experience preferred
  • Licenses and Certifications

  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid NYS driver's license upon hire required
