Definition
Under general supervision performs work of routine difficulty, mowing and maintaining turf, cleaning and maintaining city facilities, moving furnishings and equipment; delivering supplies; landscape work; meeting setup; replace light bulbs; snow removal; and performs related work as required.
Examples Of Duties
Maintains grounds; picks up trash, mows grass, maintains turf and ice, trims hedges; plants, waters, weeds and removes flowers and trees; sweeps and shovels sidewalks.
Custodial work such as cleaning building interiors; move furniture and equipment.
Moving furniture, air conditioners, files, equipment, and supplies as required; may set up conference rooms for meetings.
Qualifications
Must pass physical as prescribed by the City of Davenport.
Must pass a background check as prescribed by the City of Davenport.
Must possess and maintain throughout duration of employment a valid Driver's License.
