Well-established DC / Navy Yard favorite Osteria Morini is looking for a fun-loving, energetic, and passionate LUNCH Host / Hostess (Reception) with experience in reservations to join the team.  Osteria Morini operates as part of Altamarea Group (Marea & Ai Fiori), an award-winning global hospitality firm with 15 restaurants worldwide.  Osteria Morini offers managers an opportunity to work with high-quality Italian cuisine and wine / spirits and an operations team firmly committed to investing in and developing talent.  Altamarea Group, through its talented team of employees, creates special memories through exceptional hospitality, delivering the highest level of food and service across distinct brands and concepts.

Host / Hostess Responsibilities include :

• Greet upon arrival and interact with guests in a professional, warm and courteous manner and develop guest relationships
• Navigate reservations platform and client database proficiently
• Exhibit knowledge of Morini’s menus, culinary style and concept, reservations policies, operating hours, and other facts about the restaurants and be able to address common guest inquiries
• Handle various guest interactions, including but not limited to reservations, confirmation calls, guest reservation requests, and pick-up / delivery requests
• Maintain clean dining room and restaurant and adhere to all health and safety standards
