Purpose
The Senior Program Specialist will collaborate with all UEM divisions to support the development and implementation of the UEM career development program. The specialist will design, implement, and evaluate career development initiatives, assist with reporting, data analysis, project initiation, training, and other UEM technical programs as needed.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee the UEM career development program, ensuring compliance with governing bodies and aligning the program with business objectives.
Identify career development opportunities, skill gaps, and training needs; build relationships with educational institutions and industry partners.
Track employee progress, certifications, and milestones; monitor program performance and recommend improvements.
Plan and conduct training sessions, workshops, and development activities; coordinate external training vendors.
Develop and validate reports on training data, cost analysis, and work order metrics; collaborate with stakeholders on report revisions.
Provide support for existing and new technical programs; leverage technology and best practices to improve program efficiency.
Attend staff meetings, safety training, and adhere to UEM and university policies.

Driving Requirements
Position requires a class "C" driver's license and a current 3-year driving record. Non-Texas residents must obtain a Texas driver's license within 30 days of becoming a resident.
