Job descriptionProvide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or unauthorized access. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, hazards, or unusual situations at the location. Communicate with Allied Universal management and / or site personnel regarding security-related matters as necessary. Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directions in a professional manner. Follow all instructions and protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Tech / Media Patrol Full-Time in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.
