01 | Travels to customer locations for a variety of purposes including: to install purchased equipment or parts, address warranties, scan existing trucks for OEM information |
02 | Works with the Engineering Department, Sales Department, and additional management to determine trip objectives |
03 | Completes and submits daily log of time, challenges, accomplishments, etc. |
04 | Communicates all challenges back to the office in a timely fashion |
05 | Accurately clocks to jobs for job costing data in the Finance Department to assist the price quoting process |
06 | Maintains all equipment and tools |
07 | Welds from all positions, e.g. flat, vertical, overhead |
08 | Visually inspects work, grind and rework as needed and requested to meet Company quality standards |
09 | Makes any necessary modifications to design |
10 | Alerts Production Manager of any discrepancies on Engineering prints initially |
11 | Assists in documenting any adjustments to Engineering prints |
12 | Reports any inventory shortfalls to Production Manager |
13 | Completes daily pickup of area and remains responsible for cleanliness of work area |
14 | Completes material handling functions as needed, e.g. bringing materials into the building, operating a fork truck |
15 | Always adheres to all safety protocols including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) |
16 | Assists the Finance Department with allocating timekeeping to job codes, operations, work centers, etc. |
17 | Requests and attends meetings with PHIL and Welarco associates as necessary to review issues that arise in the field, e.g. design changes |
18 | Assists in training and developing additional associates to complete field work |
19 | Works to best of ability to provide the customer with an above-satisfactory and professional interaction |
20 | Actively listens to all customer concerns and works to resolve them |
21 | Maintains a working electrical and hydraulic knowledge |
22 | Seeks additional help from the Production Manager as necessary |
