Accounting & Operations Assistant

Bi-Petro, Inc. headquartered in Springfield, IL, has been purchasing crude oil in the Illinois basin since 1973. We are looking for hard working, honest, and responsible individuals to join our family to help service our growing customer base.

We have availability for an enthusiastic, sharp, quick learning team member in our Revenue Department who will provide clerical and secretarial support.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, verify, and process crude oil run ticket data.
• Track and manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and inventory reconciliations.
• Review, enter, and process driver payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Input new lease information into accounting systems and ensure accurate coding.
• Update and verify daily crude oil pricing in WolfePak.
• Monitor and reconcile crude oil inventory across locations.
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and assist with monthly close.
• Process operator advances, track repayments, and reconcile balances.
• Prepare and distribute preliminary and final operator run statements, verifying volumes, pricing, and deductions.
• Process remote deposits and resolve banking errors.
• Set up and reconcile driver fuel cards.
• Assign and maintain driver and gauger identification numbers.t
