Lucid is looking for an experienced RF System Engineering Manager to establish and manage a small team of engineers to implement a wide range of RF systems for our vehicles. This includes : WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, UWB, Cellular, GPS / GNSS, Broadcast Radio (AM / FM / DAB).

This position requires an experienced professional with management experience and a strong background in electronic product design with integrated RF subsystem in a vehicle.

You will be expected to manage your team to ensure quality, meet requirements on schedule, drive innovation in technology, design, process and test.

Responsibilities :

• Antenna selection, simulation and design
• Antenna placement in the vehicle
• Evaluate and select potential RF Radio solutions and suppliers by supporting the development of RFIs, RFQs and ESOWs.
• Determine test requirements and test capability at the ECU level and in vehicle.
• Complete all phases of development from prototype to mass production to ensure end to end in vehicle RF signal path performance covering all antennae, RF frontend, LNA and harness characterization; hardware bring up and verification.
• Manage suppliers and venders to achieve best performance and meeting aggressive schedules.
• Work cross functionally with many different teams inside the company, suppliers and service vendors.
