Federal Contracts Counsel

A company is looking for a Sr. Principal Counsel - Federal Contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Lead legal strategy and provide expert counsel on federal contracting matters, including compliance and dispute resolution

Serve as a strategic legal advisor across various departments, ensuring alignment and risk mitigation

Oversee the review and negotiation of contracts and modifications for DoD and federal agencies

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to one or more State Bars

8+ years of relevant professional experience, with a focus on DoD and National Security matters

Deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal acquisition regulations

Experience with classified contracts and export controls (ITAR / EAR)

Strong understanding of cybersecurity requirements in federal contracting
