Agile Architect

Lead IT Agile Delivery Owner 12 Month Contract (Potential to extend) Remote $68 / hr - $76 / hr W2 As the IT Agile Delivery Owner Lead leverages agile practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions that support the organization's business objectives. This role focuses on maximizing business value and optimizing flow by guiding agile teams to meet their goals. The Agile Delivery Owner Lead ensures effective coordination within and across teams, providing transparency on delivery progress to key stakeholders. Additionally, they foster a culture of continuous improvement, help identify and address risks and promote collaboration and trust across teams. The Agile Delivery Owner Lead supports the adoption and improvement of agile methodologies, providing guidance to enhance the organization's agile capabilities.

Responsibilities :

• Builds and sustains high-performing teams across multiple teams or platforms, consistently leveraging lean and agile practices to achieve outcomes.
• Orchestrates planning and coordination activities across multiple teams, protecting the teams against interference and over commitment, ensuring optimal team focus and sustainable productivity to achieve high-value outcomes.
• Advises Product Owners in backlog management to ensure clear prioritization across teams.
• Monitors key performance metrics to assess the health of coordinating teams. Shares metrics with teams to celebrate progress and generate improvement ideas.
• Engages with key stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood, using performance and progress metrics to increase transparency and predictability in meeting commitments.
• Facilitates the adoption and evolution of agile practices with the goal of improving how the organization produces high quality and high value outcomes.
• Aligns teams with strategic goals through transparent sequencing of work, clear identification of dependencies, and manages risks and issues that affect delivery, developing mitigation plans and ensuring timely resolution.
• Leads efforts to share and communicate information organization-wide, ensuring that all events are not only positive and productive but also set new standards for efficiency and effectiveness within the time box.
• Ensures delivery standards across multiple teams, including instilling high standards of quality, engineering excellence, understanding of compliance requirements, and release practices.
• Leverages empirical data and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and competitive advantage; coaches and mentors team members including less experienced Agile Delivery Owners, Product Owners, and Team Members, providing guidance, while championing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
