Purchasing Coordinator

Looking for a purchase to join our team and assist in the coordination of procurement and delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, purchasing experience, experience in global logistics, experience in Microsoft Dynamics D365 and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track inbound shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to customer requirements. Update stakeholders on status using logistics management tools.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to arrange transportation and resolve any issues related to transit.
• Manage the local purchasing strategy and communicate with the team globally.
• Periodically review purchasing backorders and update vendor pricing in Microsoft Dynamics ERP System.
• Ensure all necessary documentation such as purchase orders, bills of lading and customs paperwork is accurately completed and processed.
• Provide administrative support to the team when necessary, including data entry, filing, and answering phone calls, emails, etc.
