Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company located in Bloomington, MN. We are seeking candidates for Material Handler Lead role on the 2nd shift. What youll do as a Material Handler Lead :

• Follow and enforce all company safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure all primary tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
• Coach and mentor employees, providing guidance in both performance improvement and recognition of success
• Ensure employees follow all operational rules, including proper placement of placards and labels, accurate product organization, and proper disposal of materials such as cardboard, shrink wrap, and trash
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization at all times
• Lead by example and consistently uphold company standards and policies
• Effectively and fairly delegate tasks to ensure balanced workloads and workflow efficiency
• Train new employees on processes, safety procedures, and operational standards
• Ensure proper end-of-shift procedures, including plugging in equipment, locking the building, and turning off lights
• Maintain proper control of paperwork, equipment, and supplies, ensuring all materials are organized and accounted for
