Acute Coding Subject Matter Expert

A company is looking for an Acute Coding Subject Matter Expert.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee coding operations and ensure adherence to best practices and quality metrics

Collaborate with various teams to improve coding quality and efficiency through audits and reviews

Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and maintain strong client relationships

Required Qualifications :

High School Diploma / GED

AAPC or AHIMA coding credential (CCS, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA)

5+ years of experience in inpatient and outpatient hospital coding

Experience working with CDI and Quality leadership to improve coding accuracy

Ability to work an eight-hour shift between 6 : 00 AM and 6 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday
