Warehouse & Inventory Control Specialist

We are searching for a Warehouse & Inventory Control Specialist to support our team and reinforce our reputation as a leader in manufacturing nutraceutical products.
Time : 40 hours / week
Employment Type : Full-time (Non-Exempt)
SHIFT : 8 : 00am 4 : 00pm
Position Details : As our Warehouse and Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for order pulling & staging as well as verifying inventory counts and quality control procedures for those products on orders both physically and systematically. This includes notifying management personnel when they do not have enough of a particular product to fulfill orders. Their duties also include storing released products in locations in the warehouse and updating them systematically.
Additionally, you will track inventory changes working alongside other warehouse co-workers. They have many responsibilities that vary depending upon employment positions and perform duties including oversight of inventory control where they keep detailed records of any changes in inventory or production and report changes to the proper department. They inspect inventory and take note of any damage or potentially unsuitable products and return defective products back to the supplier, dispose of them according to company standards, or notify the Quality Assurance department.
When scheduled, they will conduct cycle counts on products which include accurately documenting and verifying descriptions, lots, and quantities. They may interact with the Finance, Planning, & Purchasing teams to ensure inventory in the warehouse is accurate and can be used in Production. Inventory control specialists ensure the company's inventory remains accurate and report any discrepancies to the Purchasing, Planning, Quality Assurance, and Warehouse departments. The inventory control specialist will also audit and assist the warehouse returns area with problem solving and solutions. Inventory control specialists need a high school diploma or equivalent work experience, and many receive on-the-job training.
