We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client.

Job Information Ref :

• 191921 Student : Child (6–7 years old, first grader) Location : Summerville, South Carolina – near Islesworth Way  Preferred start date : ASAP Lesson format : Face-to-face, in-person Details Availability : Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings (4 : 00 pm – 8 : 00 pm) Lesson Frequency : 3 times per week Lesson Duration : 1 hour Current English level : Beginner Native / other languages : Spanish Goals :
• Strengthen early reading and writing skills to reach grade-level proficiency
• Improve phonics, sound blending, and sight word recognition
• Build confidence in reading aloud and forming complete sentences
• Develop foundational vocabulary and comprehension
• Encourage communication in English through play-based learning and conversation Additional Information :
• Student is shy at first but opens up with trust and encouragement
• Lessons should be empathetic, patient, and engaging
• Game-like and playful activities are essential for motivation and learning
• Interests include dinosaurs, soccer, Playmobil, Transformers, and superheroes Responsibilities Create child-friendly, interactive lessons that build literacy and confidence Focus on phonics, sound blending, and reading comprehension Incorporate games, storytelling, and visual aids to maintain engagement Provide a supportive, patient environment that fosters self-expression Adapt activities to student interests and developmental level Track progress and communicate regularly with the family Qualifications Native or near-native proficiency in English Certificate or degree in early childhood education, linguistics, or related field Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching English to young children Strong ability to make lessons fun, engaging, and age-appropriate Empathy, patience, and creativity are essential All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
