Data Engineer - (Snowflake exp)

• Prioritize operational excellence by meeting or exceeding all utilization goals.
• Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
• Build scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake and related technologies.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and application developers to define data requirements.
• Perform data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization in Snowflake.
• Integrate Snowflake with various data sources, including on-premise and cloud environments.
• Implement security and governance policies within Snowflake.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data and performance issues.
• Contribute to our client’s culture and personal development through collaborating well internally, displaying our core values, participating in internal initiatives (events / groups), and / or obtaining new certifications approved by leader.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Requirements :
• 4-7+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake development and data engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling concepts.
• Proficiency in building and optimizing ETL / ELT pipelines.
• Experience integrating Snowflake with various source systems (cloud and on-premise).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud data platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel bi-weekly to client site.
• Snowflake SnowPro certification preferred.
• Experience working in the insurance industry (policy, claims, underwriting, risk management domains) preferred.
• Background in Python or other scripting languages for data pipeline automation preferred.
• Experience with BI / Visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker preferred.

Pay : $145,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
