THE WORK

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Engineer to optimize and improve manufacturing efficiency.

Responsibilities Include :

Analyze and design workflows and facility layouts for efficiency.

Establish methods for maximum facility and personnel utilization.

Conduct cost control, cost reduction, and inventory control studies.

Develop and implement facility modification and operating method revision plans.

Establish accident prevention measures and manage training programs.

Collaborate on facility planning and design.

Apply industrial engineering techniques for productivity and safety enhancements.

Ensure regulatory compliance and provide training on new methods.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team focused on continuous improvement and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Please Note : This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship is required.

WHO YOU ARE

You have a strong background in industrial engineering principles and experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control.

A level 3 employee is mid-career and typically has 3+ years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.

3+ years of experience in industrial engineering.

Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles.

Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Please Note : This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills :

Experience with lean manufacturing tools.

Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or SPC.

Knowledge of facility layout principles.

Experience with work measurement techniques.

Data analysis and project management skills.

Basic knowledge of manufacturing facility design principles.

High volume manufacturing experience

Security Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level : Secret

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
