DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Budget Analyst 2 is responsible for activities related to the administration and implementation of the Virtual Allocation Multiyear Growth Strategy. This includes budget analysis, service utilization review, and preparation of capacity adjustment requests to support long-term planning and ensure alignment with state funding requirements. You can expect to utilize available budget management tools and key financial data to conduct analyses of program budgets and identify trends. Work involves analyzing service utilization data to determine if level of utilization meets standards set by the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) and collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to support quarterly capacity adjustment requests. You will have the opportunity to perform duties related to Housing Initiative and Incident Management. Our team will rely on you to perform key administrative functions that support compliance with quality standards and service timeliness, as outlined in the state and county operating agreement. These responsibilities are directly tied to the state's allocation of administrative funding to the ID / A program at the county level.
