Job Summary
The Territory Sales Manager will drive the promotion and growth of PEM's motion control solutions—including electric linear and rotary actuators—within a designated territory across the Midwest United States. This technical sales role is responsible for developing strong customer relationships, managing existing key accounts, supporting channel partners and calling on new customers and markets to increase sales. Acting as the primary point of contact between customers and PEM's engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, this position ensures solutions meet precise application requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales of electro-mechanical products within the assigned territory.
- Develop and grow revenue through existing accounts and new customer acquisition.
- Build, train, and support a network of local sales representatives or channel partners.
- Guide opportunities through the complete sales cycle—from prospecting to project completion.
- Provide technical expertise to recommend and implement custom actuator solutions.
- Maintain regular communication with management via activity reports, forecasts, and sales plans.
- Collaborate with marketing resources to support campaigns and provide technical content.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue high-value prospects to secure new business.
- Represent PEM at relevant trade shows and industry events within the territory.
- Travel domestically up to 50% to engage with customers and channel partners.
