Description :

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) for our Day Surgery Center in Boise! This is PRN position, working as-needed when CSTs are on PTO or a day is expected to be especially busy.

• You will work 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday 6 : 45am-5 : 15pm, as needed
• No weekends, no holiday, no call

As a CST with Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will provide set-up and preparation of surgical procedures for physicians and surgical staff.

Provides support and communicates directly with surgical teams and supervisory staff.

General Requirements :

One year of scrub experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred

License / Certification :

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the NBSTSA or as a Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) by the NCCT
• An active LPN license is accepted in lieu of CST / TS-C certifications
• Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS / HCP) certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network.
