Superintendent - Public Works
Key responsibilities of a Superintendent - Public Works include :
- Ensure quality control of all contract documents and resolve any unclear or questionable details.
- Assess job site conditions and develop a logistical plan to coordinate multiple parties and activities.
- Review project arrangements as set by the Project Manager, Owner, or Architect.
- Conduct daily site walks to monitor and enforce all building and construction safety practices.
- Collaborate with Project Management in Irvine to build and maintain the project schedule from start to finish.
- Oversee creation and timely completion of the project punch list.
- Deliver a final product that meets all contract requirements and exceeds client expectations.
A successful Superintendent - Public Works candidate will have :
Proven track record of successfully managing ground-up and renovation projects in the commercial or public works sectors.Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics, and maintain project schedules.Excellent knowledge of building and construction safety regulations and a history of enforcing safe job site practices.Detail-oriented and proactive in building and construction quality control, ensuring all work aligns with contract documents and client expectations.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project managers, owners, architects, and field teams.What's an offer look like?
