Production Worker / Manufacturing Associate

Job Description

Perform various tasks related to setting up and operating equipment in a battery recycling facility, ensuring high-quality product output and proper maintenance. This role involves operating machinery, maintaining equipment, cleaning work areas, and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and ensure its proper maintenance to support high-quality product output.
• Maintain equipment and clean work areas to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist with the identification, separation, and packaging of different types of batteries and their components into correct containers.
• Inspect products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards and report any defects or equipment issues to a supervisor.

Work Environment

The work environment involves a battery recycling facility where safety protocols are strictly followed. Employees use various technologies and equipment, such as forklifts, and are expected to maintain a clean and orderly workspace. The role includes shifts that require flexibility, and employees are encouraged to follow a casual dress code suitable for general labor tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 / hr.
