Required Skills: - Current RN licensure in Minnesota (MN Board of Nursing)
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist credentials
- Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia experience
- ACLS/BLS Tier 2-Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
- Skills checklist completion required at submission
- Ability to work independently with a supervised model of care
- Availability to commit to at least two consecutive weeks per month for the first three months, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; flexibility for shifts and occasional overnight/weekend shifts preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
- Capable of supporting specialized care procedures (note: CRNAs do not perform blocks, A-lines, epidurals, or spinals)
Nice to Have Skills: - Experience in tertiary or Level III healthcare settings
- Familiarity with care team model 4:1 staffing ratios
- Ability to support specialized procedures and emergency situations
- Comfort with call responsibilities, including weeknight and occasional weekend shifts
Preferred Education and Experience: - Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program
- At least one year of clinical anesthesia practice in a hospital setting
Other Requirements: - Must reside 50 miles or more from Abbott Northwestern Hospital (MN is not a compact state)
- Credentialing process expected to take 90-120 days
- Must be willing to support flexible scheduling, including occasional overnight shifts and call responsibilities
- Valid certification in ACLS/BLS upon hire
