The Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Surface Surveillance Systems Support Team provides engineering support for Airport Surface Detection Equipment (ASDE-3 and ASDE-X), Runway Status Lights (RWSL) and Airport Surface Surveillance Capability (ASSC) systems. Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support services for resolving hardware / software issues at field sites
• Support technology refresh of legacy system hardware and software
• Assist with unit, regression and integration testing
• Occasional travel to airports across the nation to provide engineering support

Requirements

US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. All applicants must have resided in the United States for the past 3 years.

On-site presence will be as required by the FAA.
