Community Developer II/Case Manager

Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is looking for 2 temporary Community Developer II / Case Managers. Provide information regarding our Customer's Government Program.

Respond to inquiries regarding eligibility. Conduct quarterly assessments and complete excel spreadsheet with assessment information.

Enroll clients into county Program and update files.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

None

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementation of Quality and Appropriate Services : Responsible for planning and coordinating services, handling case assignments drafting service plans, reviewing case progress, making referrals as needed and determining case outcomes, as well as helping clients achieve their goals.

Provide crisis intervention; address parent / child conflict; teach pro-social skills; improve relationships between the family, community, and school.

Outreach / Family Engagement Develop strategies to increase family engagement and support. Conduct presentations to educate agencies, and the community of the program through outreach event, PSAs, and technology.

Assist in identifying the client needs for training and education; help to identify client specific resources and referrals.

Other Duties

All other related tasks and duties are performed willingly and cooperatively within time frame established for each task.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must have at least 2 years of community developer working experience

Have experience in planning and coordinating services, handling case assignments drafting service plans, reviewing case progress, making referrals.

Have experience in providing crisis intervention.

Have experience in addressing parent / child conflict, teaching pro-social skills, and improving relationships between the family, community, and school.

Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions.

Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

Must have the use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public using the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls.

Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to a, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.

No significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Must successfully complete a Blue Sky and customer background screening
