Industrial Maintenance Technician – $29 / hour

Integrity Trade Services is hiring Maintenance Technicians for our client who specializes in food manufacturing. Responsibilities :

• Maintain, service, and repair all the plant equipment to ensure minimum production interruptions, while following SQF, GMP’s, and any other pertinent food safety regulations.
• Evaluate and resolve problems on facility equipment during production and non-production hours while following GMP’s and food safety regulations
• Perform work order repairs as assigned by facility manager. Write work orders when problems are found with equipment / facility
• Perform work outlined in the preventative maintenance program as assigned by the facility manager
• Inform supervisor of parts removed from parts inventory and keep parts and work area clean
• Setup and / or breakdown of production equipment to ensure max. efficiency and min. downtime
• Strict attention to food safety, and personal safety guidelines
• Maintain a cooperative attitude with vendors, contractors, and plant team members

Location : Louisville, KY

Schedule :

3rd shift

9 : 30pm - 6 : 30am

40 hours a week with some weekends as needed

Qualifications :

HS Diploma / GED / Vocational School Degree

5 years of general maintenance experience, food / beverage industry  preferred

Must have electrical experience and knowledge

Must have experience with pneumatics, robotics, and ammonia

Must have mechanical aptitude

Must have machinery disassembly and repair knowledge

Must be able to lift 70 lbs.

Must be able to stand, bend, lift, twist, kneel, and work in confined spaces

Must be comfortable working in a changing environment from clean, dirty, cold, hot, wet, dusty, etc.
