Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist

Northwell Health’s Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team at  Mather Hospital . The ideal candidate should be energetic and innovative and enjoy a collaborative, team-based approach. Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will provide inpatient psychiatric consultations and follow-up visits to medical / surgical inpatients. Responsibility includes evaluating and treating patients that have behavioral complications from medical illness, complications from medications, psychiatric disorders that are co-morbid with medical conditions, and medical complications of different psychiatric disorders. Teaching opportunities exist within our resident program.
