Location

Salary Range
New York City Metro Area Salary Range : $105,000 - $140,000
National Salary Range : $90,000 - $125,000
Compensation is commensurate with experience and finalized title.

The Center for the Circular Economy seeks Senior Program Manager (s) or Program Manager (s) to support initiatives dedicated to advancing the circular economy. Projects and initiatives vary and include managing multi-stakeholder initiatives to accelerate reuse and recycling solutions for QSR, CPG , industrial and retail clients .
This is a full-time position (s) that will begin with a 12-month evaluation period, after w hich conv ersion to a regular full-time role may occur based on performance and firm priorities. Responsibilities include
Program Management and Strategy Execution
- Oversee and project manage high-profile, multi-stakeholder initiatives within diverse industry sectors, including reuse, recyclin g and other circularity efforts.
- Transform ambiguous goals into clear, actionable plans through critical thinking and iterative problem-solving.
- Draft multi-year initiative timelines and budgets; manage daily deadlines and tasks to ensure deliverables are on time, to the high est quality and within budget.
- Develop and execute program roadmaps and targets, including planning, resourcing, execution and stakeholder coordination.
- Prioritize and coordinate tasks across multiple workstreams, managing complex stakeholder relationships and adapting to evolving needs.
- Identify internal and external expertise needed for technically complex projects, leveraging in-house capacity and outsourced support effectively.
- Contribute to other Center special projects as needed.
Stakeholder and Relationship Management
Serve as liaison with key stakeholders including brand owners, consultants, subject matter experts and industry partners.Create project communication plans and lead stakeholder presentations and updates.Plan and facilit ate multi-stakeholder workshops and roundtables to advance priorities and foster cross-sector collaboration.Field Implementation and Operations
Identify , source and manage in-field projects (e.g., ci tywide a ctivations, reuse launches , recycli ng pilots ) ; coordinate vendors and ensure seamless execution.Lead in-store implementation, inc luding ma rketing design, research coordination, store operations and communications.Lead in-market recycling programs and tri als, including program design, vendor management, data analysis and stakeholder reporting.Research, Analysis and Thought Leadership
Design and execute data collection and analysis plans, using both quantitative and qualitative methods.Conduct research, ensure quality assurance, synthesize findings and translate insights into actionable recommendations and visual storytelling.Support thought leadership efforts to advance program priorities and share learnings internally and externally.Policy and Regulatory Engagement
Partner with the policy leads to interpret regulatory developments (including Extended Producer Responsibility – EPR).Assess co mpliance n eeds and help identify and mit igate regulatory risks that could impact programs.Leverage data and insights from in- field implementation, research and analysis to help evaluate legislation and policy.Additional Requirements
