Facilities & Capital Project Manager
The Facilities & Capital Projects Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of facilities management, including capital expenditure (Capex) projects, preventative maintenance, vendor relationships, and budget tracking. This role will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in both Capex systems and general ledger reporting for facilities-related spending. The Facilities & Capital Projects Manager works cross-functionally with Operations, Accounting, and vendor partners to ensure stores are maintained to brand standards, work is completed efficiently, and budgets are accurately tracked and reported.
Capex Project Management :
- Serve as SME for the Capex approval process : intake of proposed projects, scope definition, contractor bid management, and securing approvals
- Track project progress, ensure timely execution, and verify project completion
- Ensure vendors are paid promptly in coordination with the accounting team
- Communicate status and outcomes of Capex projects with executive and operations leadership
Capex Reporting and Financial Management :
Be the SME in the general ledger system related to CapexPull spending reports and monitor vendor payment statusDeliver clear monthly and quarterly Capex updates and forecasts to company leadersPartner with Finance and Accounting to ensure proper tracking and reconciliation of Capex spendingPreventive Maintenance and Facilities Support :
Develop and manage store-level preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of assets and minimize disruptionsAct as a resource for store and field leadership to resolve facility and equipment-related issuesBuild strong knowledge of store layouts, everyday facility needs, and resolution methodsTeam Leadership :
Lead, mentor, and develop a Facilities SpecialistOversee team workflow, priorities, and performance outcomesVendor and Contractor Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, service providers, and contractorsEnsure quality of work and accountability for timelines and deliverablesUnder the Hood What You'll Need :
