Lead Financial Accountant

A company is looking for a Lead Financial Accountant (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries and reconciliations, manage the month-end close process, and assist with audit preparation

Design and implement accounting processes for new business arrangements while ensuring compliance with GAAP

Mentor and train less experienced staff, while providing timely updates on reconciliations and related projects to management

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree

8 years of experience in financial reconciliations and related schedules

Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred

Accounting certification (CPA) is preferred

Proficiency in PC-based applications and Microsoft Office
