As a Security Officer - Unarmed CRE Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and regular patrols will help to deter potential security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will also support access control measures and respond to situations as needed, all while demonstrating the company's values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. What You'll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents and promote a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.

Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site protocols.

Document all incidents, activities, and observations according to company and client procedures.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
