The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join thePro Designteam!

You will partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to develop data scienceinsights and solutions that informour overall product/business strategy,acquisitionstrategies,optimizeretention, and forecast demand. Your work will directly influencethe Pro Designroadmap by uncovering growth levers and patterns in user behavior, acquisition channels, and user churn dynamics.

Whatyou'llDo

• Define and drive a culture ofanalyticalrigor, including implementing scalable tools and processes that drive visibility, accountability, and action.

• Develop and refine customer segmentation models using unsupervised learning techniques toidentifybehavioral clusters and inform targeting strategies.

• Build andmaintainforecasting models (, ARIMA, Prophet) to predict demand and user engagement trends.

• Define and exemplify the value of customers over and develop strategies to improve it in acquisition and retention processes.

• Lead churn modeling initiatives to proactivelyidentifyat-risk users and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Create reusable machine learning pipelines and data artifacts that scale across the organization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design experiments and interpret results, including A/B testing and cohort analyses.

• Share complex modeling outcomes and insights with both technical and non-technical collaborators.

Whatyou need to succeed

• 10+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics.

• Proventrack recordin building high performing data science/analytics teams that are diverse, highly collaborative, and work across functions and geographies.

• Strong communicationskills anda track recordof influencing stakeholders, peers, and leaders.

• Strongproficiencyin Python and SQL for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis.

• Experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms.

• Deep understanding of time series forecasting, including ARIMA, Prophet, and other statistical models.

• Proven ability to build and deploy unsupervised learning models for customer segmentation.

• Expertisein data visualization tools like Tableau or equivalent.

• Strong foundationin statistical modeling, experimentation, and lifecycle analytics.

• Ability to work independently and lead complex projects from ideation to delivery.

• BS degree in computer science or a related degree isrequiredor equivalent practical experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The pay range for this position is $171,900 -- $339,850 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $234,700 - $339,850

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
