Universal Stainless produces semi-finished and finished specialty steel long products and plate including stainless steel, tool steel, bearing steel, gear steel, and aircraft quality low alloy steels for use in a variety of industries.

Vim Floater - Material Handler Description
Finishing Crew Member II
Wage : $18.50 (.45 cent differential change for night shift)
Day shift : 7am to 7pm / 4 on, 2 off
Night shift : 7pm to 7am / 4 on, 2 off
12-hour shifts
Steady days / nights after training complete
Prior steel mill experience preferred. Inventory experience a plus!
Tow motor experience required, and crane experience preferred.
Duties
- Cycle Count material
- Inventory of raw material
- Packaging and Labeling for shipping / receiving.
- Moving material via tow motor or overhead crane
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Schedule :
- 12-hour shift
- Holidays
- Weekends
- Day shift or night shift
Education :
High school Diploma or equivalent (Required)
Experience :
- Remote Crane : 1 year (Preferred)
- Forklift : 1 year (Required)
Shift availability :
Night Shift or Day Shift (Required)
