Overview
Learning & Development Manager (Advisory) at CohnReznick. This role is remote with potential in-office contingencies; reporting to the National L&D Director within the People & Culture team in Advisory.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm; most professionals are located within a commutable distance to an office. This position is considered remote but may require presence at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
- Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the Advisory learning pathways, focusing on technical learning. Include needs analysis and design with SMEs, budgeting, scheduling, program logistics, evaluation, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Design engaging, outcomes-based learning experiences across modalities (in-person, virtual, self-paced) tailored to consulting professionals.
- Map consulting competency frameworks to formal and informal learning interventions and create gap analyses by role or level.
- Assess complex learning needs, synthesize input from multiple stakeholders, and develop creative, business-aligned solutions with clear objectives and outcomes.
- Understand the consulting / advisory environment—client service, billability, project cycles, industry specialization—and align L&D to real-world challenges.
- Consult and collaborate with Practice Leaders, People and Culture and other stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop solutions.
- Partner with Practice Leaders and SMEs to build a firm-wide Advisory curriculum using a blend of knowledge-based and skills-based learning outcomes to co-create and champion initiatives.
- Use learning metrics, feedback, and business KPIs to evaluate program impact and continuously refine the learning strategy; implement modifications based on outcomes and evaluate teaching and learning against desired vs actual results.
- Lead sessions when appropriate, train facilitators, and provide developmentally focused coaching to rising professionals in a high-performance culture.
- Conduct internal and external research and benchmarking to identify and implement best practices.
- Advise on CPE policy application for Advisory programs.
- Manage project communication for all Advisory programs and partner with operations to implement conference-event management approaches elevating the learning experience.
- Proactively manage vendor relationships for Advisory programs to ensure mindful expenditure and clear ROI.
- Manage and implement special projects / initiatives to enhance Learning and Development operations.
- Assist with Firm projects as assigned.
Your Experience
Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, instructional design, or business-related field.Minimum of 5-7 years' progressive learning and development experience.Deep understanding of how competencies drive performance, talent decisions, and development; able to design learning that maps to specific skill expectations.Proven expertise in instructional design, including needs assessment, program design and development, and evaluation. In-depth knowledge of learning strategic issues and challenges.Intermediate to advanced project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple and complex L&D projects.Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust and credibility.Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at director and partner levels, fostering strong professional relationships.Ability and willingness to travel to multiple office and / or conference center locations across the United States.Advanced competency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and with learning management systems (LMS).Preferred Qualifications
