I am an impassioned ECE Director of over 20 years and I am looking for a driven mentee who wants to develop exceptional skills as an ECE Director and eventually move into the leadership position.
Bright Sprouts Learning is a brand new school serving infants and toddlers in Aurora, CO!
We are currently interviewing for a Assistant Director : Director in Training who passionately aligns with our mission and vision of supporting children, teachers, and families with whole-system, whole-person programming.
Statement of Philosophy : Bright Sprouts Learning is a holistically driven center focused on the well-being of working families, early childhood educators, and the early childhood journey.Statement of Curriculum : Using a Learning Stories approach our early childhood teachers facilitate Emergent Curriculum through documentation, research, reflection and planning.
Duties
- Support consistent efficiency and integrity of school administrative systems
- Support and empower teachers to reach their day to day highest potential
- Oversee enrollment processes, files, and support families as needed
- Manage the inventory and care of school materials ranging from curriculum to operational
- Generate a warm and welcoming environment for families, children, and teachers
- Assist teachers in managing Learning Story Portfolios
- Provide passionate support to classrooms and teachers when needed
- Become familiar with all student's names, needs, as well as their family's
- Answer enrollment questions and schedule tours
- Support the Director in maintaining high quality programming and team satisfaction
- Assist in maintaining compliance to all regulatory guidelines
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years early childhood leady teaching experience.Strong desire to invest in personal leadership skills and goals.Alignment with emergent curriculum and play-based approaches.Strong oral and written communication skills; technology skills.Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.A strong understanding of child development and desire to learn more.Excellent organizational skills.Infant / child CPR and First Aid certification.Must clear a full background check.Early Childhood 3.0 Colorado CertificationNice To Haves
