LEAD MRI TECHNOLOGIST

Sign on Bonus Eligible

Responsible for the overall daily operation of the MRI Department. Will oversee the activities of the staff MRI technologist; Assist with annual appraisals on MRI employees / orient new employees. Schedule is 10-hour shifts.

Essential Job Functions

• Assists in developing necessary forms, procedures, and protocols.

Consults with radiologist to determine proper imaging protocol.

Maintains records on equipment calibration / service.

Assists management in determining the value of new products / equipment to meet the department's needs.

Provides proper scheduling for procedures.

Assists in ACR accreditation.

Develops cost-saving initiatives.

Oversees the activities and assists with annual performance appraisals on MRI staff.
