Job Description : Platform Software Engineer

Location : McLean, VA or Richmond, VA (Hybrid)

Duration : 12-Month Contract

Pay : $61+ / hr W2 Only (No C2C)

Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to support key email platform initiatives, automated testing workflows, and infrastructure modernization efforts. This role will contribute to the launch of a major platform modernization. The ideal candidate brings strong scripting abilities, experience with cloud-based DevOps practices, and hands-on support for end-to-end email delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Support email platforms and end-to-end email flow through automated testing efforts.
• Assist in the launch and roll-out of a new platform supporting enterprise email systems.
• Contribute to infrastructure modernization initiatives to improve reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Python and Node.js to automate processes and enhance system functionality.
• Work within AWS DevOps environments to build, deploy, test, and monitor applications and services.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues across complex email systems.
